Camp Stanley Hong Kong

Mick - I'm trying to get some information on the Camp Stanley POW camp in Hong Kong during WW2. My grandfather (AJ Savitsky) was imprisoned there during WW2 and I think was the unoffical camp artist there. He was with the HK Volunteer Police Reserve, and spent the war there from the fall of Hong Kong to liberation in 1945.

If anyone has any information, or can point me to a website or book about this camp (and maybe even about the HK Police during WW2 there) it would be greatfully appreciated). Please email me at mick@senatorsfan.com.

Does anyone know if the camp is still standing?
