Alberts War

Ron - Paul Morrell has been very kind in sending in a book he has written about his grandfather called Alberts War.

It follows the 18th Division from Britain to Singapore and beyond. Albert was in the Royal Army Medical Corps. and after the 18th Division had disembarked at Singapore, he left with refugees on the Wakefield. It is a good guess that his medical assistance was required with the women and children on board.

Lucky, I hear you say, read the story, now on the Fepow Community and Britain at War.

Paul was awarded June's Top Story for his Convoy William Sail 12X article, which from the feedback every one enjoyed.

Ron - Harry Stogden and the Changi Cross has been added with information sent in by Bernard Stogden, Harry’s son.

This is a very moving account and has new photo’s.
